Internet Home Based Businesses Anyone Can Do
If you’re serious about having a home based business, then you need to prepare. The leading reason for a failing home based business is the lack of preparation people commit after they’ve made a decision to start a home based business.
So what kind of home based business opportunity should you take on? Do you want to have an internet-based home business? Millions have done it, are doing it and are earning good livings doing so.
Here are three different kinds of Internet based business models you can try:
1) Be an online retailer for reputable companies. Your home based internet business can give reviews about all the products and services of these companies. Your customers will browse around your website, and then click on to the link. The link will send the customer to the company’s customer service website, which takes care of processing and shipping their order.
Your home based online business website does the marketing, promoting and advertising aspects for these companies. Your commission comes from the proceeds of the sale. You don’t even have to spend money for expensive e-commerce software.
2) You may not be able to bear the pain of separating from your oldest possessions, but how about auctioning these things off? For a minimal entry fee and closing fee, you can put your prized possessions on auction at Ebay or other spin-offs found on the net. This is a virtually free home based business since you don’t pay for web presence. You’ll get traffic since Ebay receives as many as 4 million visitors a day, and you won’t need to worry about your e-commerce software. Plus your small home based internet business stays open even when you go fishing!
3) Sell information. You can start your home based internet business by writing on a subject that you enjoy or are knowledgeable about. If you can do this, then this small home based internet business is for you. Write your e-book and sell it on sites like Ebay.com, ebookAd.com, or Clickbank.com.
These home based internet business are all simple and easy enough to do. You can earn a living on these ideas if you view this small home based business with passion and commitment.
Just remember these home based internet tip:
Constantly fine-tune your marketing strategy and always test new ad copies to see what brings you the most sales!

5 Steps to Increase your Google Page Rank.
Google Page rank is based on back links. Back links are Links pointing to your website from another website. The more back links you have the higher your PR will be.
1. Join forums, forums are a great way to achieve links to your website. In most forums you are allowed to have a signature and in your signature you can put a link to your website. But another important note to look on is making sure the forum is somewhat related to your website. You will still get credit if it’s not, but if it’s related to your website than you will be accomplishing two tasks at once.
You will be advertising for your website (bringing in targeted traffic) You will also be building your websites presence.
Your websites presence is very important to your survival. The more people see, or hear about your website the more credibility you will have and this increases your chances of having these visitors come back and possibly become leads.
2. Submit to search engine directories. Search engine directories are a good way to get a free link to your website. They also increase your chances at being listed higher on popular search engines like Google, and overture.
Most search engine directories allow you to submit to their website for free. This will allow you to increase your web presence by being listed on another search engine, and it will also be a free link.
Remember the more links you have the higher your PR will be
3. Using ezine ads (or newsletters). Creating an ezine will probably be the most beneficial step you can take to increasing your web presence. When you create an ezine you will be able to keep visitors coming back to your website for more by using signatures and giving special deals.
Ezine’s will also allow you to increase your back links. By creating an ezine you can submit your information about your ezine to an ezine directory. This directory will than link to your website(thus giving you a free link).
4. Creating and publishing articles. Articles are an easy source of generating new traffic. You can include your signature in your article. This will bring in more traffic from article submission directories.
Your signature usually consists of 4 to 8 lines. Usually the first line would be the title of the website that you are trying to advertise. The last line would be the link to the website and the lines in between these would be a sales pitch to draw your viewers into your website.
5. Links from related websites. Gaining links from related websites can be one of the most frustrating tasks you can attempt.
They are very easy to find, but can be somewhat difficult to obtain links from.
To find related websites, all you have to do is go to a search engine… say Google… and type in your subject. Maybe your website is based on ford mustangs.
You go to Google and type in ford mustangs, than you look around for pages that are somewhat related to your website. After you have done this (which should be very easy) you have to contact them in some way to get your link posted on their website. This can be the most difficult task because a lot of webmasters ignore e-mail’s from people requesting links because they don’t see the importance of it at the time. Some other reasons could be that they are rarely online, or they delete spam mail and sometimes delete their important emails in the process.
Important note: When looking for link partners don’t just link with websites that have a page rank of 4 or higher. Link with anyone and everyone you get a chance to. If you link to someone that has a page rank of zero, this will not hurt your page rank. It will only increase it because you are getting a link back to your website. Google doesn’t look at your back links page ranks to determine what yours is going to be. It simply looks at how many back links you have.
So if Google one day decided to link to a website that was just created and this website has a page rank of 0 and has a domain that goes something like this: mywebsite.geocities.com it’s page rank wouldn’t increase even though Google’s page rank is 10, it’s rank would still be zero because it would only have that one back link.

Top 10 Creative Freelance Careers
Source:about.com
When searching for the perfect business opportunity, experts advise following your passion. For those with an artistic eye, you can easily turn a flare for the creative into a thriving freelance career. You may prefer a more traditional arts and crafts interest, such as custom pottery or blown glasswork. However, you can just as easily take a more typical freelancing opportunity and add a creative twist to make it your own. Here are 10 ideas for creative freelancing careers to get you started.
1. Scrapbook Design Consultant
Scrapbooking and rubber stamping are no longer simply hobbies; they now make up a multi-billion dollar industry. If you have a talent for layout and design and a passion for creating lasting memories then freelancing as a scrapbook design consultant offers several opportunities. Companies, like Creative Memories and Stampn' Up, offer home-based consultant programs. For a modest fee, you receive a starter kit and then resell the supplies, and other related products, through home party demonstrations. You can go it alone and provide scrapbooking services to others, in which case you can list your services online at Creative Keepsakes Consultant Locator. Or, you can use your talent to create gift cards and other custom products to sell direct.
2. Speciality Freelance Writer
Writing may be one of the first (and oldest) professions to lend itself to freelance work. However, it is time to think beyond the standard freelancing notion of writing copy for brochures, white papers and magazine articles - and get creative. For example, consider putting your talents to use writing witty, but brief, copy for online greeting cards. Or, how about selling your services as a scribe to create custom party invitations, thank you notes or love letters. Another growing trend is disatisfying customers hiring professional complaint letters to send to offending corporations.
3. Color Consultant
Color consultants are companions to the interior design business and there services are increasingly in demand. How many times have you driven by a house that sticks out like a sore thumb because it is painted a horrific neon blue or a sickly pumpkin orange? You can hardly blame the owner, given the tricky properties of paint and its ability to fool the eye as it goes from a one-inch cardboard paint sample to the real thing. The same can be said for interior colors which appear quite different on walls depending on the size of a room, or the amount of natural or synthetic lighting. Also boosting the need for color consultants in both homes and businesses is the Feng Shui movement and the recognition of the effects of color on mood.
4. Waterscapes Design Consultant
Waterscapes are an ever-popular segment of the booming industry focusing on outdoor living spaces and custom-designed gardens. As a design consultant for waterscapes you help home owners and businesses utilize water elements in their outdoor spaces. This can include designing or advising on the use of waterfalls to complement pool and spa areas, ponds (of all sizes), custom water fountains, and fun, backyard water centers designed specifically for children. If you enjoy the outdoors, are comfortable working with contractors, and have an interest in using stone or other natural elements as a function of design, you might be the perfect candidate for helping people create one-of-a-kind waterscapes.
5. Real Estate Marketing Consultant
Selling a home has become more competitive than ever and that challenge opens up an ideal freelance career for marketing professionals. Maximize your creativity working with both homeowners and Realtors to help position a home for sale. There are three primary opportunities for marketing services. As a home staging professional you are paid to declutter, rearrange and organize a home so that it looks its best for showing to prospective buyers. Or, you can offer your services to create an attention-getting Open House, in which you help the Realtor ensure there is plenty of buyers showing up to see a house for sale. Similarly, Realtors and For Sale By Owners also need help developing creative marketing materials to advertise a house.
6. Social Media Consultant
A growing trend is the use of social networking sites, such as FaceBook, MySpace and Second Life to market a traditional business. Corporations know they need to use these types of online media to reach customers but often they do not have the in-house expertise to do so. As a social media consultant you can advise companies on issues such as, the most appropriate, and cost-effective means of advertising on these and other social networking sites; creating viral videos; and even on implementing and maintaining a corporate blog.
7. Event Coordinator
This may not be a new freelance opportunity but event and party planning offers the ultimate chance to put your creative touch to work. And, like other long-time freelancing careers, this one is also being reinvented. Stop thinking in terms of wedding planning and boring, corporate functions. The newest trend in event planning is to specialize in coordinating lavish Sweet 16 parties for teens, or the Spanish equivelant of the Quinceanera party. Event coordinators are also being hired to create intimate, romantic dinner parties for two and to organize unique and over-the-top memorial and funeral services for the ultimate going-away party.
8. Jewelry Designer and Buying Consultant
Using precious gems or intricate beadwork to design jewelry is a wonderful way to evoke your creative muse. But this idea can extend to more than selling standard necklaces and earrings. Instead, consider designing custom necklaces, or jeweled collars, for pampered dogs and cats. The pet industry continues to expand and jewelry for fido is among the rising trends. Similarly, teens and young adults are dressing up their electronic devices with jewelry. You can design custom pieces to add to cell phones, digital cameras and MP3 players. Of course, maybe you have extensive knowledge about silver, gold and gems and would rather buy it than design it. In that case, consider offering your services as a buying consultant for upscale clients.
9. Graphic Artist
Freelancing as a graphic artist is hardly new, either, but there are ways to put an even more creative touch to the profession. Whereas you may have once designed advertisements and corporate logos, now you may prefer to specialize in online graphics. For example, you could use your artful imagination to design Avatars, or graphical representations of people for use online. Similarly, you could put web-based artwork to use in video games, Flash ads, and online videos.
10. Play Consultant
Perhaps the ultimate creative freelance career is that of a professional play consultant. Companies once paid big money for employees to attend team-building programs, and now that same concept has been reinvented as a play therapist, so to speak. You consult companies on how to use play and creative thinking in brainstorming events to engage employees and solicit better ideas. Play consultants also advise on how to use fun as a way to de-stress overworked, burned-out employees. On a smaller scale, the same concept can be targeted to a client base of young children. In that case, parents, preschool programs, and home schooling organizations hire you to provide weekly exercise programs or creative play sessions for their students.

Earn Money Online Doing Free Online Jobs Like Data Entry, Copywriting etc
Earn Money Online Doing Free Online Jobs Like Data Entry, Copywriting etc
Do You Want To Earn Money Online Without Investing Anything And Without Paying Any FEE?
Do you want to make $3000+ per month easily? Via doing simple and free online jobs like copywriting, data entry, simple typing, online form filling, programming, SEO and many other jobs?
If yes, then carry on and read this freelance tutorial. In this tutorial [guide], you will learn the easiest and 100% legitimate way to earn lot of cash on the internet.
Note: To get the mentioned jobs, you will never pay any money from your own pocket EVER.
Working at freelance sites is the best/easiest way to earn legitimate money on the internet. You are your own Boss and you will work, whenever you want to.
Let's cut to the chase and come straight to the point. How much can you earn via doing these online jobs?
Well, I am earning $3000+ per month, and I do copywriting and data entry jobs at below mentioned freelance websites. I prefer only copywriting jobs, as the pay is very good [when compared to data entry jobs].
Data entry is a good option to choice if you cannot do any other job. Different jobs require us to have different kinds of skill. Like to do programming jobs, one needs to have skills of doing coding work in different kinds of languages like PHP, ASP, .NET etc.
But if a person has no skill in any other field, then he can do data entry jobs: as this work requires no Skill or Experience of any kind. If you can operate a PC then you can do data entry work. This work does pay less compared to copywriting and other jobs: but one can still earn some decent amount of cash doing data entry work.
Here is a list of freelancing websites. I personally work only at two freelance sites which are mentioned in the below list.
Note: Please open these freelance sites in separate windows and carry on reading this tutorial [guide]. You need to know many things about these freelance sites. This guide is a complete freelance tutorial.
1. Elance [Free Membership Available]
2. Getafreelancer (GAF) [100% Free To Join]
3. oDesk
4. Scriptlance (SL) [For The Option "Account Type"; Choose "Programmer" NOT "Buyer"] [100% Free To Join]
5. Freelancer UK [Another Update: This site is now acquired by GAF: This site now shows the same list of jobs as found at GAF:: Old Update: In order to control spam registrations, this site [Freelancer UK] has discontinued free registration. This site is no longer free to join: They now charge £1 for the registration: If you are only interested in free to join sites, then you can register at above listed sites: Registration there is 100% FREE]
Working at freelance sites is the best option for home staying Moms to make money online at home. Stay at home with the children and make cash on the internet via doing simple freelance jobs.
Two freelance sites [GAF and SL], which are mentioned in the above list: these two sites have a great freelance market. Hundreds of online jobs are posted at these two freelance sites, every day.
Is it free to join both GAF and SL? Well yes, its 100% free to join both these sites. But there are some differences between these two websites. I will explain these differences later in this guide and I will also explain the difference between data entry and copywriting jobs. (Will talk about it later).
To make money at freelance sites, you need to invest some time. You will not invest any money. The only thing that you will be investing is some of Your Time.
If you want to make a living online, then you will have to spend 8 or more hours at freelance sites to make a decent living. On the other hand, if you want to earn some extra cash on the internet via doing part time onlinejobs, then you can do work whenever you have some spare time. You can work for few hours on the weekends or you can work for an hour or so on business days [ after the full time day job is over].
In the beginning of anyone's freelance career, the goal is to win the first freelance project.
Truth/Reality: it is very difficult [but not impossible] to get [or win] the very first freelance project.
Let’s talk about the first freelance site, which is Getafreelancer or GAF [please note that Getafreelancer has changed their name to just Freelancer: however, in this article, I will still be calling them GAF : )].
The very first thing to do is to get register at GAF. Registration process is very simple. Within few minutes, you will get an active account at GAF.
REMEMBER to enter professional looking information in all fields of the profile; people [most of them] will see your profile, before they decide to give you any work. So make a decent looking profile.
[Update: GAF has changed the rules and now, we can only place bids on jobs that are posted in the categories which we will select in our profile/qualifications. So, in your profile under the heading “Qualifications”, choose all the categories in which you are interested.
For example: if you have selected the data entry category in your profile and have not selected the copywriting category, then you will only be able to bid on data entry projects.
Don’t worry: you can change/edit your profile/qualifications at anytime but you should know that there are limited numbers of categories that we can choose under our qualifications and there are limited numbers of times, in each month, when we can edit our qualifications.]
After you create a profile, open GAF home page and scroll down, until you see a heading called “The 50 Newest projects”.
[At freelance sites, jobs and projects mean the same. Getting a job and winning a project means the same].
Here you will see a list of newest opened projects that you can win.
Recommendation: if you are not a programmer or expert in any field then you should do data entry or may be copywriting jobs. For copywriting jobs, you will need to write content in English language. This content needs to have no or very few grammatical mistakes and absolutely no spelling errors.
Look for jobs under the “The 50 Newest projects” section. Open/click on the project which you think you are capable of doing/completing.
After you open the project description page, you should first read the description of the project. Make sure that you can complete the described work.
Important: You have to make sure that you can complete the work. You have to be 100% sure about it. In order to earn money online at freelance sites, you need to earn excellent ratings: and in case you fail to complete a project, then you will get a bad rating. One bad rating can pretty much end the freelance career for a new comer.
Now click on “Place a Bid” icon and then enter the lowest amount of [available] money in the bid.
WHAT, the lowest price? Why?
Well, what do you expect : ) ?
You are new at the freelance site. So you have to do work for the lowest price.
How can you get a project for higher rates, when there are many other people applying for the same project, who have high ratings?
Importance Of Ratings/Feedbacks
All freelance sites have a rating/feedback system. When a person completes a job, he/she then gets a rating/feedback. The more jobs a person do, the more ratings/feedbacks he/she will get.
The more ratings/feedbacks a person have, the more money he/she will earn at freelance sites.
Ratings/feedbacks are part of freelancer’s reputation at a particular freelance site. You are a new user and you don’t have any ratings: so, go for the lowest price. The more good ratings you have, the more jobs will you get.
Importance of Communication With Buyers
Communication with buyers is the most important part of freelancing. You have to send a private message to the buyer as soon as you place a bid. Without proper communication with the buyers, chances of winning a project are almost zero.
After you place a bid, go back to the project description page and look for a small icon called PM [Inbox] (Private Message) [Label of this icon has been changed from PM to Inbox].
Remember: Sending PM is the key factor in wining a project
Now click on the small PM icon, and send a message to the creator of the project and tell him that you are new but you can do an excellent job and that you will do it for the lowest price that he wants to pay for that project.
ALWAYS, remember to send a PM to the creator of the project, after you place your bid.
[People who create projects at freelance sites or the people who outsource jobs at freelance sites, are called buyers]
After you send the PM, wait for the buyer's response. If you get a reply, then there is a good chance of winning that project. Freelance career of a person only starts when he or she wins his/her first project.
After getting a reply from a buyer, open the PM to see what the buyer replied and act accordingly.
Few things to Remember:
First of all: you can place bids on 15 [Please note that this limit is changed to 30] projects/month at GAF. In contrast to the second website [SL] where you can place bids on as many projects as you want to.
At GAF, if you become a GM [gold member], you can then place bids on 160+ projects. I suggest you upgrade to gold membership as soon as you earn $12 at GAF [Edit: You now have to earn little more money, as the Gold Membership fee has been increased].
Here are few advantages of gold membership.
There will be no project fees. For example: if you win a project worth $100 and you are a GM, then you will get all $100 after you complete the project.
But if you are not a GM, then you will have to pay a fee (10% of total project budget) to GAF.
What? I have to pay any FEE? You do not have to pay anything from your pocket. After you will complete a job at GAF, the buyer will pay you. You will get this money in your GAF account.
If you are not a GM, then you will see 10% money being deducted from your account. See? You did not pay any fee from your pocket. You only got little less money for the work you did. It’s like a commission that GAF takes from non gold members.
GAF take this fee only from non-gold members. GM pay just the monthly gold membership fee and they pay no other fee. [Edit: GAF has made lot of changes in their site. One of these chances is that: now GMs will also pay a small fee. Currently it is 3%: but it may change in the future]
Let’s take an example where I won a project worth $100. After I complete the work, the buyer pays me. Now if I am a GM, then I will see $100 [$97] in my GAF account. On the other hand, if I am not a GM, then I will see $90.
What is the cost of upgrading to gold membership?
It costs $12 [This fee is now changed to $19.95] per month to become GM.
I will suggest that you first earn some cash at GAF as a non-gold member and then you use that earned money to pay $12 [$19.95], from your GAF account, to become GM.
Be Safe And Follow The Rules
Remember to NEVER send any contact information to buyers via PM. Contact information includes email, phone number etc. In case you will send any contact information in PM then your online freelance career will be over for sure.
GAF and all other freelance sites will terminate/suspend the account if they find any contact info in PM.
Few Important Tips
At GAF, don’t click on “Message Board” to communicate with buyers. You have to find “PM” icon, look for it below or in-front of buyer's username.
Don’t open any other page at GAF (other than the home page) to see the latest data entry, copywriting etc jobs. This is because; it’s really hard to get/win old projects and on the home page, you will only see new ones.
Keep the home page opened and scroll down to the “The 50 Newest Projects” heading section and keep refreshing at this position to become the first one to catch the newly posted projects.
The only hope for new comers to get a job is to catch the newly posted projects. If you are the first person to place a bid on a project, then the chances of winning that project increases significantly.
What are the payment options available at Freelance Sites?
There are many payment options available at freelance sites.
You can use different payment processors to get the money that you will earn at freelance sites: you can select Paypal or MoneyBookers [MB]. Other payment options are not as cheap and safe as these two.
If you live in a country where Paypal is not supported then you can use MoneyBookers to transfer money to your bank account. It’s cheap and safe way to transfer money from freelance sites to your bank account.
It’s not difficult to create a account at moneybookers, but adding bank accounts can [sometimes] create problems. Once you verify the address/name and add a bank account; you will then receive your money with just one click.
After you create a account at Money Bookers: go to the Profile page and click on "address" in order to verify it. You need to verify your postal address before you can start using MB.
I made the mistake of not verifying my address at the time of creating my MB account. After I transferred my money from GAF to MB, I tried to withdraw the money from MB to my bank account.
Unfortunately, it was then, I found about address verification. I got my money 40 days late because of this small mistake of not verifying my postal address when I first created my MB account.
Anyway, after you click on the verify Postal address button, moneybookers will send a letter to your postal address which will contain a code. Use this code to verify the account.
After address verification, you have to enter your bank account information.
You will first transfer your money from freelance sites to your MB account and then you will transfer this money from MB to your own bank account. The whole process can take up to 14 days.
The real problem is that, you can’t use [just] any bank accounts with moneybookers. You will need to have an account in a bank which is directly connected to SWIFT Network.
How to find out if a bank is connected to the SWIFT network or not?
The easiest way to find out whether your bank is connected to SWIFT or not, is to you call your bank and ask them to give you their Swift Code.
If they have a SWIFT code, then go to your MoneyBookers account and try to enter your bank account information. In case MB fails to accept your Bank account information: then it will mean that your bank is indirectly connected to SWIFT network (Not a good news).
If your bank account is not directly connected to SWIFT network, then go to SWIFT Directory and try to search for a bank in your city, which is directly connected to the SWIFT Network and which is nearest to where you live.
After that, you will have to go to that bank to create a new bank account. After you create a new bank account, enter its information in your profile at MB.
First you will request the freelancing site(s) to transfer the money to your MB account, then you will request MB to send this amount to your bank account. After few days, you will finally receive your cash in your bank account.
[Update: I recently tried to withdraw money from MB and I got a message to verify my Name too. For that, MB sent $15 to my bank account. I then went to my bank and got a SWIFT copy of that $15 transaction. I scanned that document and sent it to MB via their website. MB then verified my Name/Account within 24 hours. So you may also get this Name verification message at MB]
I do not know much about Paypal as it is not yet supported in my country. If you live in Pakistan, Nigeria etc [where Paypal is not yet supported], then you will have to use MB to get your money from freelance sites.
Paypal and Moneybookers have made it easier for people doing jobs at freelancing sites to receive their money.
Difference Between Copywriting and Data Entry Jobs
If you can write proper English [English without spelling and grammatical mistakes], then you should do copywriting jobs. And in case your English writing skills are not very impressive, then you can do data entry work.
Remember: there is a big difference between copywriting and data entry. Copywriting jobs pay much more than what data entry jobs pay.
So, if you cannot write proper English and still want to do writing work, then you should first try to improve your English writing skills.
Some Final Words
This opportunity enables you to earn legit money online without worrying about scams. Free online jobs means that you will never invest any money from your own pocket. This means that you simply cannot lose any money. So you should never get worry about scams while doing online jobs at the sites which I have mentioned in this guide.
Best Of Luck…
Before ending this guide, let’s talk a little about the second freelance site: which is SL.
At SL, if you win a project worth $100, you then get $95 in your SL account: because the site charges a fee of 5% [this fee percentage may change in future]. It’s a fair deal. There is no gold membership at SL. You can bid on as many projects, as you want to. And there is no PM icon at SL.
At SL, you will have to click on “Message Board” and then you will click on Post Message: in order to communicate with the buyer.
All other things are the same as GAF.
I hope all the above information will help you start working at freelance sites.
Thanks to freelance sites, people can now make a decent living online while they stay at home.
That is all for the basic freelance introduction. Explore this site if you want to know more about freelance sites. In this site you will find lot of useful information.
